United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Galway Green
Nearly Here...

Well the first bit has arrived; two sets of genuine LR2 mats, one carpet and one rubber, ordered from dan@duckworths were delivered today. Very Happy

All ready for when I go and collect my new MY2013 GS TD4 Manual in Aintree Green from the dealers on Saturday.

If the weather forecast is to be believed it will be getting a snowy christening on the way home. Mr. Green

Did you go for Aintree as you're from Merseyside?

No, mats were a cost option. When I looked into it Duckworths were cheaper. Also I wanted both carpet and rubber for summer (hopefully) and winter use. gone MY2010 GS TD4 Manual Stornoway

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of the new Freely! Aintree green sounds like an interesting colour. Thumbs Up

I bought rubber & carpet mats. I think the carpet ones look nicer than the rubber, but the rubber will be used for winter.

Think I will need to take my camera to the dealers with me; the drive back in this weather will ruin it! Big Cry gone MY2010 GS TD4 Manual Stornoway

Looks good! Thumbs Up Colour coded mirror caps would make it look even better.

will be interested in your thoughts after doing a few hundred miles and comparing it to your old model.

Only done around 30 miles in so far. But I have to say, like others have said, it feels much smoother both in relation to gear changing and accelerating. There is also a better feel to it - an overall better quality of finish and refinement.

Oh, and the driving position feels noticeably higher, but that may be a case of my old ones drivers seat starting to suffer under 32k of miles with my lump sat on it. Whistle gone MY2010 GS TD4 Manual Stornoway
