On Sunday afternoon the tailgate on my 60 reg Freelander 2 HSE failed, it just would not open, despite looking up for solutions through these columns.
I called Hillendale Landrover, Nelson, just after 8.30 this morning, who although they had a fully booked up workshop arranged for me to bring the car in at 1.30pm.
A faulty switch was diagnosed and replaced by 2.15pm
This sort of service is first class.

Think ive read a thread on here about the switch i think its a known problem caused by water getting in.
