Plastic parts very rarely match the metal panels, many new cars have mismatched panels, you may have to settle for it?

This isn't just a slight shade difference which I expected like you say plastic panels don't always match,it's quite a lot darker and the paint on the off side is new after my little accident in August. |

I can highly recommend a body shop in Stafford? Called 'Body Matters' had my spoiler done there and they get all our work vehicles.

the spray shop I use takes the petrol flap off the car to be painted and has it computer analysed for a paint match by the paint supplier. all my previous cars that needed paint came back absolutely perfect. didn't cost any more than normal either. may be worth a shot if a sprayshop in your area can access such a service

The first spray shop I went to had 4 attempts to match the paint with no success so they wouldn't paint it. I had an accident which required a new wing to be fitted at another body shop and in the end they had to paint the whole side of the car because they could not blend it in.The shop that painted it this time have now painted it twice off the car because the first time it was way off and they used the paint code on the car. It looked ok when I picked it up but not so good now it's on the car.izmir silver obviously isn't a good colour to match. |

silvers are very difficult to match I agree. you usually end up spraying 3x the area you need to try and blend successfully - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement
