Land rover-jaguar sale imminent !!!!!

Confused Looks like tata is favourite to win my beloved company. May be a good thing in the long term. Ford are basically bankrupt so better for us we are sold asap. Rather be in tata hands than go under with ford. Ta ta are bigger with deeper pockets. Halewood just got max points in an isr audit making it best plant in jag l rover. May be not enough to save it. One major plant will go. Live your life be free-lander

Scotland 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 Dynamic Auto Indus Silver

This is very bad news indeed. Big Cry
tata is 30 years behind in technology. Their 4x4 vehicles, if you can call them vehicles, get 1 out of 5 in What Car? and the buses they make??? well, square sliding windows in aluminium frames, need i say more.
Then again, you get what you pay for as they say... Out with the old (2007 SE)
In with the new (2012 Dynamic with everything). Now also gone.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Baltic Blue

Looks like another company poised to learn a lot from L/R. Honda, no off road models when they where involved, then launch FL1 clone CRV. BMW, no off road technology when they bought L/R, sell L/R to Ford and launch X5. Look on the bright side, L/R under Ford gave me my much loved Emily.(Freelander2 Baltic Blue, she looks stunning in the sun when I have treated her to a wash & brush up) still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

News about sale of lr jag

Very Happy No doubt we are being sold. Tata are commited to ongoing production of current lr jag models. They have seen the new product cycles ie lrx and the new e type so are in it long term. Just have to see what plant goes solihull or halewood. Live your life be free-lander
