Spyware whilst viewing the site

I dare say this is coincidental rather than something to do with freel2.com but will post just in case. Just browsing the site and an alert popped up on Sophos (I have a MacBook Pro) that declared spyware had been detected and quarantined. When I opened the quarantine manager it had gone because in my settings I have it set to destroy once captured/quarantined.

Running a full scan now just to be sure and all software is bang up to date. It deleted before I could note what the spyware was. I think it said V20 blah blah blah (some long number) LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

It will have been a false positive where it believes what is an innocent filename or a sequence of data is malware because it matches up in its database.

...

Most likely a rogue signature in Sophos. I'd say all AV software at some time or another will do this - a false positive ...
