Tips in cleaning leather seats

Any tips on keeping the white stripe on my new SE clean

Only had the car 2 weeks and have noticed the blue from my denim jeans staining the seats centre stripe

Any cleaning tips ?

Or do I just buy a seat cover .... SD4 Sports LE Black ...

I use the car plan leather cleaner and balm.
Found it to be very good (though its on black leather)
It was voted best leather cleaner/treatment in auto express.

I've found that pure soap - not detergent or washing liquid or scented soaps - with a damp cloth to be the best for cleaning. For conditioning, Gliptone.

Pure essencial eucylyptus oil to clean, it even takes tar out of carpets but be careful with this as it WILL take the colour out of cheaply dyed leather, test a discreet area first, almond oil to condition or for a "lazy mans" option use leather wipes made by Method these are made for household leather but they are excellent for car leather as well as they help to stop bum slip as well Very Happy

Hi Re cleaning leather seats on MY13 GS Freelander.
I looked at the HSE which had real leather but price was out of my limit so bought the GS model with what appears to be the "reconstituted" leather.
will it be Ok to use conditioner on this leather or should I stick to soap and water?

I use the sonus leather kit (cleaner and conditioner) which seems to work well. Haven't tried anything else so don't know if better or worse than other options.

Raising a thread from the dead but we always try and have light leather interiors and the very best (and we have tried loads over the years) has been DoDo Juice Supernatural cleaner, liberally applied and if bad stains are present lightly scrubbed with a soft brush the results are amazing, at first when still wet it looks like you have Censored the seat up as it looks a bit streaky but when dry it is clean and lovely again. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
