Noticed last week when cleaning my FL that there was a spot of rust on the wheel arch (under side, and coming round onto the arch) no bigger than a 5p piece.

Only had it 6 weeks, so was a little P to say the least.

Anyway, went into the main dealers the next day and got the bodyshop manager to look at it for me.
I had a feeling that it wasnt going to be covered by the land rover warranty, but was prepared for an argument with them about the fact that it had a full service as part of the deal when i purchased it and why it wasnt picked up on the corrosion inspection that is supposidly carried out.

He went back inside and spoke to the sales manager, came back out and said that they would paid for the repair and front wing respray.
They are also loaning me a courtesy car while mine is in.

County landrover get a big thumbs up from me for customer service

I'll second County Landrover. Bought my FL there last week and had a great experience end-to-end.

Visited a lot of dealers around me in Surrey but just didn't get a good vibe from any of them. Ranging from not taking me seriously (ok, fair enough, I don't always look like I can afford a FL!) to the overly slick salesmen with their amateur hour psychological tricks which turns me right off.

Was treated like a human at County  FL2 2011 SD4 XS in Galway Green
