This might be a RTFM question!

I have to go down a very narrow alleyway once a week, and as I
want to fit chrome mirrors I need to be able to fold them in. I
have tried pressing both buttons at the same time, but it does
not work. It is an HSE so I would have thought it should be
standard. Any suggestions? It is limited info. in the manual

Do they fold when you lock the car? If not, try locking/unlocking the car and holding the button in continuously...if the windows raise/lower and the mirrors don't then it may need configuring at the dealers. HTH. Foraging near Gaydon....

Older models (don't know the age of your car) won't retract if you are going over about 10mph.

Mines an 08 GS and they fold so would say yours should do mate

That's a new one, I can see the age from my ipad!!
Ok, yours is a 07 plate so they will not retract over about 10mph but should retract at all other times.

Yes they do go in when I lock the car. I have tried doing it when
stationary, but no good. I assume if the fuse had gone they would
not turn in when I close the car?

Hi mona geezer, yes they do, I would think that as they fold
when locking the car, they should fold when I press the two
buttons together. There would not be a separate fuse for this
operation
