Defiantly a day out with the amount of traveling

The night event sounds good though, especially on a clear night with no light pollution Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

We are staying over before and after the event, makes it easier and I am on holiday so no rush to get back.
By all accounts it is being very well attended so should be a good day.
Might have a look at the observatory while we are up there too Thumbs Up

Mint, a freelander friend. I was going to suggest if you need digs you can stay here.

I replied on Facebook about the evening event. The observatory is excellent and on clear night the northern lights are a real possibility.

I'm in Durham and the drives about 90 mins.

So looking forward to the day now.

Taz can't wait to meet you.

Thanks for the offer MajorG, much appreciated but we will find somewhere on route, a friend of mine will be up too. He has a FL1 that he took last time.
Will be a laugh, especially if April lives up to its usual weather Laughing

I've just looked at the website and it looks very good. I've got a question now from myself who has never done any off roading Embarassed The website say "A conventional 4×4 can be regarded as a vehicle with good ground clearance, four wheel drive and a centre locking differential or equivalent drive system." does that include an FL2, is the Haldex an "equivalent drive system"

For 55 quid it looks a good day out! I wonder if I can tie in such a trip with a camping expedition with my 7 year old? lol Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
