It's a 5 minute job and is much easier to do removed, they slide in/out in a sort of captive rail so cannot deviate.
As long as you touch nothing else (the adjusters are to the side and further back, allen key operated) then alignment will stay the same.
a) Bonnet up
b) Remove the two screws above headlamp
c) Pull up locking lever
d) Pull headlamp toward you
e) unplug electrics
f) Place headlamp on worktop on a nice clean towel
g) Remove lamp cover
h) Proceed to change lamp
