Netherlands 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
Webasto Standheating

I have a Webasto Standheating installed now in my TD4 HSE; very comfortable: I can program automatic pre-heating of both engine and interior. No more "rough engine sound" on a cold morning; combined with 2-stroke oil addition I enjoy a very smooth engine (I started with the 2T oil dope at km 2000 after reading Yamaha Fan's contributions and now I have 20.000 km).

Hi Jimmy,

It uses diesel; I don't have the manual with me, but approx. 0.3-0.6 L/hr. Normally 30-40 minutes will do.

Russia

I have one in my HSE i6. It is installed because of car is living on the street, very good to get in warm car early in the cold mornig and drive away.

All diesels sold and for sale in Russia have supplementary Webasto heaters factory installed, which automatically switchs on if outside temp is below +5 and coolant temp is below +60. Dealer can convert it to full parking heater with remote control by customer request free of charge, but still problems exists with right software version for converted heaters. Quite few happy owners reported in russian forum about succesfull conversion. Freelander 2 HSE i6 Tonga Green
