@ le bouch,

He is enquiring on a MY13 model and the fuses have different designations from your model year. On a MY13 the CFB F5 feeds the 'slip control module'.
Also CFB F28 on your model year feeds the 'stop lamp switch'.

Not much help, but I was informed the only permanent live available after 20 minute shutdown would be via the fuses in the boot. Not looked further into it and difficult to asses as every time you open the doors, it powers up!

(EDIT!!) Just put the question to Mike@Landrover and he's emailed the question to the technical team. Will let us know when he has a reply.

Just for anyones info, Auto Express have done the 2014 reviews on dash cams and the 'Transcend DrivePro 200' comes out on top. Looking at the YouTube videos its very high quality.

Just a shame that Transcend only sell through Amazon by the look of it....

Just waiting to hear back from their UK office about any UK stock to save the 2-3 week dispatch time they state. This is the one for me, right price for specs too.

A good thing about the Blackvue is the motion detection recording when parked, this doesn't appear to have that feature.

Yes, and as the footage from these cameras makes you look like your going about 15mph faster than you actually are, having a GPS readout proving you are doing 30 in a 30 rather than 45, I think is borderline essential.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Orkney Grey

After a lot of reseach......on order:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F2GM...&psc=1
Also ordered a separate Class 6 32GB microSD card. All in around £70 with free delivery.
Small and easily removed and has a good review:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdPHXv8Hzj8
I wanted something very discrete but the Mi-Witness is quite expensive and didn't get good reviews in the latest Which? report Sad
The GPS "bit" is actually in the mount that sticks to the screen. You can opt for a non GPS mount if you want.
The power lead also connects to the mount which I liked. To remove the camera you simply slide it off the mount Very Happy
You can also have it with / without in built 8G memory - I ordered one without. Personal choice.
It also has an in-built battery so it can be used remotely for <10mins - allegedly Rolling Eyes
If I like it then I'll buy another mount (with GPS) and power lead for the Classic..... Wink
That way I can swap it over with minimum effort.
Keep you posted Thumbs Up

PS Alernative way to mount etc:

I went for the Mi Witness in the end... seemed to have what I wanted, is discreet and decent quality footage, has GPS etc. Doesn't have an LCD screen for in-car viewing but, for me, that's a distraction.

Fitted it a month ago and checked the output a couple of times - looks v good. Will fit a rear facing cam as well.

Keep us posted on how the e-prance (odd name?) performs Thumbs Up

So for a MY2013 which fuse slot is spare in the glovebox fuse box for an ignition live so I can use a piggy back fuse?

If anyone is thinking of fitting a camera, this is a very good price.
