I was thinking as to what battery to fit,the one on the FLR is 80 ah so will find one of those but what make and the price range is huge.Is it worth £200 for one or will a Exide at £83 be any different. |

An Exide 80Ah is standard fit (on mine, at least), so assuming that's the one you're talking about it should be perfectly adequate unless you have particularly demanding power needs. |

Not sure if its correct with the Land Rover batteries? but I was told at BMW MINI that all new batteries they fit, if they have a black casing they are gel batteries, and white casing are the older lead acid type.

The Exide battery shown above is lead acid and the correct one for Chris's car. John

No! The AGM battery has different charging parameters and should only be fitted to replace a similar (they will have AGM stamped on the label). If you change the type fitted you must have the ECU reprogrammed to the other charging pattern! |
