i can recommend the weather pro app, you do have to pay for it but it has been the most accurate ive used and very detailed.
unfortunately although tue / wed onwards is forecast to get cold there is no snow forecast around cumbria yet, the fells will probably be white soon though.

Looks like this is starting to come closer.... The rain has stopped and its drying up and cooling down. Forecasts are for minus temperatures next week. Best get the big coat in the car!

According to some reports online, the latest forecast models say that it will not be bad at all. Milder air will sweep in and stop the big easterly block next weekend. There is a chance though that the mild air will not charge in at full speed and as it meets the cold air.........snow time.
