What's the reason for the clutch and DMF issues? Towing? Boy racer driving?

DMFs are a fairly complex bit of engineeering, at least they seem to confuse vehicle manufacturers as few of them make a good one. the ideas right but I guess the bean counters dont allow the engineers to build them to the true quality needed At work |

Design! Basically the DMF is a form of shock absorber which evens out the pulses produced by a diesel engine to make the power delivery smoother and more comfy for us poor little cosseted darlings!
