Annoying squeak drivers seat (not electric seats)

Hi my Freelander 2 is now just over two year old & has developed a very annoying squeaking sound from the drivers seat I have tried adjusting it always but no joy, ps I am under 20 stone before any cleaver coments

I had a similar problem on my MY11 creaking under acceleration and braking. Initially my dealer changed the sqab, but within a few weeks it was back. They then changed the whole seat and the problem was resolved. As you’re still under warranty I would expect similar treatment to my experience if you go back to your dealer

I had a creaking, squeaking noise but disappeared when I rubbed a little furniture polish where the seat touches the plastic surround.

No squeak, lack of lumbar support not plesent though. Have the S model with manual seats. Landy has now gone.

you sure its not the seatbelt holder rubbing on the plastic ? When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car
