2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey
winter tyres for 16 inch?

I currently have a spare set of 16 inch freelander 2 wheels with 215 75 16.I can't seem to find any winter tyres that size.Does anyone know if I can put put a different size winter tyre on, somebody said probably could put on 215 70 16?

I wouldn't go smaller on the sidewall to maintain the width. Either same width and higher aspect ratio or wider for the same aspect ratio.

I'd look at a 225/70r16 or 225/75r16.

Just bought a 4 year old td4s, has 215/75 16's fitted. Conti winter contacts (M&S). Previous owner paid £110 a corner from dealers for them. 7mm tread left

What about the General AT2 ? 225/75x16 fits with no problem, very good All Terrain tyre with very good winter ability. Thumbs Up Andy.

oooo interesting!, any pics? The AT2 served flawlessly on my defender, great milage from them too!
