rear wheel skid ?

hard to explain this, but here goes, noticed a few times lately when turning right from standing at a junction, the passenger side rear wheel seems as if it judders or skids, no other obvious problems with it, not accelerating fast either, is it something or nothing, just a loss of traction ? Only lasts a couple of seconds . . .

Could be a problem with your haldex.
To test that hypothesis disable the haldex unit - unplug the haldex connection at the haldex control unit under the car or remove the fuse for the haldex (not sure which one it is off the top of my head). Ignore the temporary warnings on the dashboard. If problem goes away then haldex is the cause. Jules

Could also be the damper / shock absorber on that side.

Can't see how a damper would induce a skid pulling off from a standstill? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Could be the PTU

On my 2012 Evoque (same underneath as FL2) it developed a sudden knock from the nearside rear. LRA diagnosed it as CV joint or drive shaft but when it got on the ramps in the dealer turned out to be the PTU (Front diff) at fault and the splines to the gear box had gone.... new PTU and gearbox thankfully under warranty.(but they didnt replace the clutch while the gearbox was out as that wasnt covered Censored )

might be worth a call to Austen at Bell Engineering to see if he can advise over the phone

I had that symptom once, it was low fluid level in the haldex. The dealer had the haldex out a year prior and messed up the o-ring so it leaked very slowly. They took care of it, just needed a new oring and fluid.

EDIT: I mispoke, pretty sure that the fluid which had leaked out was from the rear diff.
