12V Power Outlets Not Working (both)!!

Hi all,
It's been a while, mostly problem free motoring so that's a good thing!
until now! Recently I noticed that both front and rear 12V power outlets are not working!
I have changed the fuse under the bonnet (#45), and checked the connections to both sockets but this has failed to rectify the problem. I know the two work independently so for both to die simultaneously spells trouble to me!
Does anyone know of any solutions, or has anyone else come across this problem before?
I have searched te forum but couldn't find any solutions, so forgive me if I have missed something.
As always any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Did you had any work done on the floor console (between seats) ?
Check the ground connection in the floor console. The ground (GND) connection is common to both sockets.
You can access it from the rear seats, dismantling the rear audio controls or the vertical panel in place of the rear audio controls.

The gray connectors in picture 11 in the file below.

You have tested them by plugging in different things? Would be really daft if it was the fuse in your sat nav that had blown.............

I haven't had any work done recently.
all connections seem ok.
and yes I have tried numerous different things in order to rule out faulty chargers etc.

Alex is correct (of course Bow down ). They both have the same earth, but use different fuses (45 for front, 19 and 6 in rear fuse box for the other). Try connecting your device to the socket (live) but earthing it on another part of car (eg, bolt by passenger side fuse box). If it works then there is a problem in the earth wiring from the sockets.
