Is traffic film remover any good? Ive heard it can strip wax off the car? I was thinking of using it as I get a lot of bird poo and bugs on my car.

Seen some today 5 litres for 6 quid, dilute it and apply with a pump spray. Anyone any advice on the stuff?

Cheers all!

It WILL strip off any wax or polish. Take your car to the Lithuanians etc for a so called clean - they are very handy with TFR & theirs is usually the caustic stuff.

I use TFR (Autoglym NON Caustic) for cleaning wheels, engine bays, door shuts etc. It can be used for cleaning the car but simply polish it afterwards.
Do not do as the cheap car washes do & spray it on a DRY car, hot wheels etc or door rubbers as it will bleach those. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Have a look at bilthamber.com they do a lot of award-winning detailing and cleaning products. I particularly like their wheel cleaning spray

Iā€™m a fan of Meguires products. A good wash , a good rinse, a good dry will sort it.
I would never use local wash. Maker of fine writing instruments.šŸ–ŠšŸ–ŒšŸ–‹

The red TFR ultra is bloody brilliant, dilute it and spray on with a garden sprayer or bucket and brush, people slate it because they mix it up to strong, its got a wax and restores plastic back to a nice shine.

Jennychem Snodland. Sortmill Road Mid Kent Business Park, Snodland. Kent. 01634 245666 they do it mail order from 1 ltr to barrels.
