Just fitted mine. All sorted and working until the crimp connection on the fuse bypass came undone. Now reconnected more securely and tucked out of way. Things I've noted:

in my opinion the problem is the slight tilt of the device, so somehow you need to anchor it at the top. Will post some pics in a bit that will hopefully show my solution... 2012 DISCOVERY 4 GS AUTO ORKNEY GREY

In this picture you can see the moulded bracket thingy that I found in my garage and broke in half to form a brace. Note that I have raised the suction lever upwards which I used to secure the upper part of the device:

Certainly belt and braces! I took the mount off mine to make it lighter and, hopefully, less likely to unstick. If others have problems here you may be able to market your device! |
