He had it done by Midland Remaps cost was £179... its a proper remap so everything has been changed via a 3d graph. Mpg has increase dramatically, and performance has also. No flat spots during acceleration etc.. More like the sd4 now! |

Your friend has done very well to obtain such a good increase in fuel economy, but he is depriving the Chancellor of the Exchequor of valuable revenue to help get the country out of recession |

Agreed .... forget the mpg on the dash - the only TRUE way to measure mpg is the 'tank to tank' method. Try it sometime and you will be surprised how inaccurate the dash reading is - it is purely designed as a 'feelgood factor' and can be vastly different to the actual mpg. Cheers,

My trip computer gives 3mpg more than the "Tank to Tank" calculations |

We did a trip to trip reading and worked it out at 36.2mpg! |
