You can drive south from Bowes via Sleighthol;me to the Tan Hill Inn http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/feb/05/tan-hill-inn-snow. The final section is off tarmac on county road, although it certainly used to be pretty easy (last drove it in a Sherpa van). Check it on an OS map for exact location. |
