I'm off to the Cheshire one in June too. Don't really know anything about Peckforton Castle, but it fits in with a trip to Wales and Cumbria. Thumbs Up

The 1/2 day vouchers on e-bay are the ones that LR dealers give free to customers who have bought, or who may potentialy buy a car. If you bought your car from a LR dealer just go ask him for a voucher and you may be lucky, we got one when we bought the ( used) car last year, I've just got another from our Fleet manager at work as the Local LR dealer is trying to make inroads into our fleet of mainly Audi and BMW so is encouraging us to try the new Ewok. the phone up and book price is about £250 I think. Still if you end up buying one at £80 that is a bargain, and Coniston Cold is a beautifull country estate, ( owned by the Boundary Mill people) which has on site the LR experience, a very good shooting ground ( where a few of us are going next weekend) a nice trout fishery, and a falconery centre all grouped around a country house hotel and restaurant.

thank you for all the info Smile

Just called at Guy Salmon for a small part I ordered. I tried hinting about the LR experience days and our forum!

Nowt given away yet. Sad I will try again, Smile

Sometime hinting just isn't enough - be more direct and honest - just ask them for a voucher! Thumbs Up

You'd be amazed what you can get by just "asking" Confused Smile

I used to work in an R&D department in a company in Harlow, Essex - It was an office challenge to "blag" the most expensive samples or freebies. Must admit I never won but blagged some great components. 2002 Honda VFR800

I returned to Guy Salmon for servicing, despite a none too rosy history. I asked them about the Experience days, and was told that hey don't do them any more. Following yesterdays problems, I think I may be sending a formal request for one. I wonder if any of them are watching this site???

If I were you I would check up on any reviews before you book Luton Hoo, haven't heard anything good about it, to small, easy, boring are but a few of the comments I've seen.
