Buy a goat, they cut grass and fuel themselves all in one handy process, then when all the fuel is gone and food is scarce, you can eat it Thumbs Up

I don't sell..pfft, minions for that.

Chickens are OK, local Sainsbugs have a decent choice, they produce fertiliser which is good for grass, goats like grass, ergo, get a goat, everyone's a winner Thumbs Up

I am watching the fuel situation closely, the bike may be increasing in value Whistle

Was out today with son and heir and we got down to 43 miles range.
As we are very rural, it's a 16 mile round trip to the shops, i decided to get some fuel.

Queues everywhere, sick of it. When i got to the pumps, chap in front put 7 quids worth in!

Last time when there was an actual fuel drivers strike, i knew a couple of a pensionable age who did about 50 miles a week, had a car each, and queued up behind each other to fill up.

Popped £30 in today to cover a few trips I might do this weekend, the garage must have been rubbing his tuppence together as the pumps were selling at at least 5p more than pre panic

No queue though

I care.
The wheels of industry and business must be allowed to turn. To do so means fuel.
That's how we get jobs and income.

Let alone feeding the nation.

Think it goes a very long way beyond you not driving. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

When we had the last fuel strike we had to cancel none urgent work and concentrate on all the rest also all jobs further afield were either cancelled or put on hold.

Managed our Run to Eastbourne to visit our ailing FIL in nursing home.
Took the Fiesta and managed 68 MPG there & back cruising at 60 including a good dose of 2 stroke OIL .

Petrol stations I passed from the west Country to Sussex had mostly sold out of derv and those that hadn't had queues a mile long ! From Eastbourne to Hampshire I only found one station that had Derv, had a long queue so we topped up for safety.

Glad I didn't use the FR2 as we may of run short on fuel.

Makes you realise how vulnerable we are as a country now is we had a fuel strike or blockades !
