I have heard good things about the 725 Thumbs Up

Some don't like the lack of scroll on the side and the orange standing out

Personally I like the look Cool

no orange on it,game scenes engraved both sides and its lighter the the Lanber that went before it.The guy on the Browning stand at the shooting show in Newark arranged for me to put a box of shells through one for free as I was thinking of buying one

nice gun, and it has the new Browning mechanical trigger ( similar to the system on the K80 sporter) , so if your first cartridge is a bit light on recoil your second pull will fire the second cartridge, unlike Berettas and the older Browning/Miroku models which all relied on the inertia from the recoil to reset the trigger for shot 2 , pretty useful feature in both game or competition guns. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

nice gun, will need to get used to it after five years and a few thousand shots with the old gun,Love the weight loss and the reduced recoil with the new recoil pad.

Glad you like it Archie, even in my short time shooting it feels strange shooting a Browning instead of mine

Sure it won't be long and you'll be break clays or filling the dinner plate Thumbs Up

I went for the 30" too! I've been out the past couple of weeks and it's more addictive than I thought! A few grounds up here open weekday evenings as it gets lighter so I'm looking forward to that.

Anyway Archie, enjoy the B725, none of the Brownings seem to sit right for me when I bring them to the shoulder.

i've had Brownings/Mirokus ( same thing for the Japanese factory guns) and half a dozen Berettas ( still got a 682 gold sporter ), and both makes are very very nice guns, the gun I've used for the last 10 years is an old second hand K80 lightweight sporter ( dural action weighs a lot less) but it was bought for a very technical reason - that is one side of the action has a dog engraved on it ! i'm just getting back into shooting after leaving it alone for 4 or 5 years and it's great to discover that i'm just as crap as I ever was Rolling with laughter

keep the guns serviced and in 10 years boys, they will still be worth what you paid for them, something you can never say about a car. I had the K80 serviced and it came back as tight as new with trigger pulls like snapping an icicle Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
