It is the front and rear parking sensor button

They come on automaticaly when you select reverse,

but if you need the front sensors on, if you were going in to a parking space forward, you can press the button to switch them on aswell.

United States 2008 LR2 i6 SE Auto Narvik Black

I have been looking at doing this mod since I got my lr2 and actually didn't get a nav stock because I wanted to do this. I finally found someone who fit a screen in but my only issue is sizing. I was looking at specific measurements on this screen and noticed something weird. It claims to be a 7" screen but measurements only make it 6". I thought no big deal because they measured diagonally. But I am wanting to use a regular touchscreen made by xenarc that allows me to connect a computer to it through vga. I was looking at the measurement on their 7" screen and it comes out to be 7", not 6". Will this screen I am wanting to use still work or do you think the size difference will be too much to try and fit it. Also, a regular tft lcd that has computer hookup will have screen adjustments to change the size , just like a regular computer monitor, but I am not sure that the screen will look right after these adjustments. Any suggestions on what I should use, or how to do this the best way? I am wanting to have as many options as possible on adding things and don't think that the system that funsmart used does enough for me.
Also, I am wanting to run bluetooth through this monitor along with running sound. Has anyone found a mod that will allow the bluetooth to work like it does stock so that it will cut in and let me know there is a call incoming. I know I will need a mod so that it will fade out all other noise and let me know there is a call. Also, would the best way to run audio from a unit like this be to run it through the aux input?
Thanks,
Blake

Yea thanks for the useless reply. I was hoping for funsmart to say something since he seems to be the only one that knows what he is doing. I dont want to have to make something for this install but have a feeling I am going to have to take apart some stock modules to make them do what I need. If anyone has done anything like any of the things I said something about, please let me know so I can try and save my self some time.

oh im not that mad or anything, I was just wanting a useful, productive response to a question. I can take a joke when there is the moment for it, but I was just asking a question since funsmart seemed to know what he was doing on an lr2 since he had wired his kenwood system.
Don't worry, there wont be any flaming here, I don't get that mad online Smile

It's very impressive Funsmart!!!
How did you fix the monitor to the dashboard? Is there any factory casing or accessory sold alone?
Is it stable and is the navigation fully operational? Any fuctions requiring the hidden buttons on the screen?

Pioneer have a hard disk navi/entertainment system that replaces the factory fitted radio CD with the Pioneer system so it mounts lower down in the dash board and leaves the high up position as a general cubby hole for storing 'stuff' Wink
I have one being fitted in my FL2 next month. I am transferring it from my old car into the FL2 .
