I was just thinking what an ingenious idea the pimples are , imagine the havoc if they weren't there.... your hand would slide along it going round a corner and you would tap the wrong part of the sat nav screen and end up lost!

I've seen an aftermarket Sat Nav / DVD player in China that goes in the cubby hole in the dashboard and the pimply shelf is removed and becomes the buttons to control it.

After seeing that I always thought that if your Landrover came with a factory fitted Satnav then this shelf is for that purpose and us "porpers" who can only afford TomTom's ended up with a dashboard hole and a pimply shelf / pen holder / finger scratch / dust collector.

Use mine to rest my driving glasses on when I get out of the car.

Pimpley bits hold them in place so the glasses are easier/quicker to find when I get back in the car.
