Just found out the price for the sliding cover from my dealer (Guy Salmon in Wakefield). Unit is £58.75 inc VAT Bit pricey for a piece of plastic |

Many thanks for the info - I just saved myself £58.75 for not wanting one I use the existing open tray to hold my binoculars so they are always at the ready Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Well I guess so - however smallish portable objects I need, are purchased in the UK wooops hope there are no customs personnel on the forum Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Nope, I removed the rubber mat. There's an off-centre hole, but it doesn't correspond with the spike. Although I'm a devout DIYer (Don't Involve Yourself), I'm not a total galootish ejit |

May look "upmarket" but its not Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
