Without seeing one in the flesh I can't say for certain but they do look the same, the chances are they supply them to LR but want be allowed to say so, some of the other sellers have been selling steps and side tubes as non genuine yet when they arrive they have the genuine fitting instructions.
As for fitting it really is easy but you really need two people, one each side to offer it up level as once the 3M tape touches that's it it cannot be moved, then just fix the two brackets on, no drilling required, depending on how new it is to which brackets it will have, the early ones had metal brackets with four screws and the later has plastic brackets with two screws.

Thanks Thumbs Up Smile

It's the powerful uk one that i have but i haven't seen it for about a month and it's still not been painted yet. I dropped it off to be done and said don't rush and they haven't Rolling Eyes

Mine has 2 holes in the bracket. I haven't seen a LR one but obviously, i've seen my powerful uk one. Just wondered if there was much difference. I saw the price and thought it will do for me Thumbs Up

I think it will definitely improve my rear if i ever get it on Thumbs Up 59 TD4e XS in galway green

Did you buy from these people Razman?

I was thinking about buying one from here, but saw they were not the 'genuine' item.
Is it worth getting one from these people anyway?

Roughly how much are people being charged for getting them painted?

I think Razman painted his own as he has black. I can't see any photos in his gallery, hint hint.

I have metallic green and was going to have a go but thought i'd leave it to the experts. I'm not expecting it to cost much and think if i'd have messed it up, i'd have had to have someone else to paint it anyway.

I just wish that the paintshop would get on with it Banging Head 59 TD4e XS in galway green

I bought from another source which listed it as an 'ex display' item and was a bit cheaper too. It turned out to be a genuine LR spoiler but TBH the pattern ones are identical in every way ....... it is literally a stick on plastic spoiler at the end of the day so there can't be many quality issues to worry about Smile Cheers,

Hi Raz can i ask ? If one end of the bracket bolts to the spoiler .. where does the other end fit ?

I'm sure if i had one and offered it up it would become obvious..

ANNIE .. I've just seen that same add on ebay .. can ya tell what ya recon to it when it's fitted ?
And any chance of seeing some pics ? .. when it's fitted of course

One end attaches to the Spoiler making the bracket basically a Clamp, this the clamps the Spoiler to the Tailgate, as you say it will become obvious when you offer it up. Thumbs Up

I guess i'm being dim here But where on the tailgate does it clamp ? The pic i saw had 2 holes to bolt to the spoiler but no holes in the other end and i guess it donesen't stick on .. so where on the tailgate will it hook/clamp
