Wales 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

First one died at 27k and the second at 57k, slipping 200r/m when pulling the caravan, pedal pressure higher now on the third so assume some modifications made. But have had enough and have just traded in for an auto

Just coming up to 72k and not aware of any problems (even towing a van). Third MOT passed on Friday with no advisories.
Will still change it for an MY2013 auto, probably later in year.

Hi, clutch wear will depend on your type of driving. My last jaguar had its original clutch (and brake discs) afetr 120,000mls.
If you spend a lot of time in the city, then any figure will be dramatically reduced.

Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Bali Blue

Mines a 2009 GS with 26,000 miles on it which I have just bought - I think the salesman in the Honda dealer / garage I bought it from thought I was a bit 'nuts' with all the testing I was doing on the clutch away from roundabouts and in 5th & 6th on a dual carriageway.

Looking good so far Thumbs Up

Clutch

Had 97k on my 07 xs when I trader her in in January and it also towed a caravan.
Clutch felt like new but I know it was original as was the Dual Mass flywheel.
