Hello, similar issue, wife was driving the FL2 last night, transmission warning light comes on yellow then red, switched off happens again stays red no physical symptoms, this morning no warning lights? gremlin? thanks |

Have you had the latest software update for autos? Although I didn't have the warning lights it certainly improved the smoothness of the gearchanges Cheers,

If you have a manual, then that light can be triggered only by the rear Haldex system (active on-demand coupling).

The Haldex system is just in front of the rear differential.

Alex, thanks for the information, my light has been coming on intermittantly for a while. I've got the manual FL2 and will have a look in the light tomorrow. I take it that its easy to see the electrical connection which i'll give a clean and how do you check the oil level? regards Rob |

It's easy to see the electrical connector, but I don't think that there's the problem because the connector is very well designed and there is a slim chance for oxidation...
