Phone volume

Hi all,

Does any one know how to turn up the volume for the phone when speaking to someone.

I have it turned up to 30 but it still seems a little quiet for me.

I asked at the dealers and they said it couldn't be adjusted.......Maybe I'm getting old. Shocked

Same here. I adjust the volume of the ringer or voice 'during a call' via the volume controls and it stays that way until I adjust it again.

Hi Crabeye, I wear hearing aids in both ears for conversation but not in the car, and incoming calls are very loud on full volume so I suspect something is wrong or an adjustment somewhere is needed.

As odd as it seems, if you turn up the volume on your phone the person to whom you are speaking will not hear you so clearly, it seems that doing this turns down the microphone in the car Confused

This is something i experienced when going from my 2007 hse to a courtesy 2011 freelander 2 hse while it was being repaired just before xmas (accident not my fault may i add!). In my FL2 the maximum volume when receiving calls was louder then when receiving calls in the 2011 fl2 at max. I found it pretty hard at times to hear what was being said specially when driving with lots of road noise. Now i have my hse back, the volume is higher and have no problems hearing conversations. Strange.
