I seem to have a large amount of grey sludge coming from the breather hose to the air intake housing.
Can this be flushed out in any way.

You could have water in the oil ! Possible head gasket

Do you do lots of short journeys , a long journey burns of the water,
short journeys mix the water and oil which then looks like salard cream.

Check the coolent and engine oil levels , high oil level low water level ( possible head gasket)

I think the turbo is playing up because it sounds like a bus not sure if its related to the sludge tho.

Lets hope it's not the Turbo too becuase that will make you Cry if it needs replacing

Had mine replaced under warranty a few year back, ( parts on back order for 3 weeks, back then)
