Mod finished, managed to use a sparky's threading rod to run cables from the rear seat interior light so it has both functions, courtesy and individual switch on. MY14 TD4 manual XS Orkney grey.

Can you advise me on how to make the connections to the existing light, are there any plugs/sockets you use? (You can probably tell that I am no electrician! )
