Last winter every store around here had sold out of the 5 litre tubs of screenwash and were even struggling with the smaller tubs.

My wife doesn't like a "screenwash" smell when washing the screen. So we always use Halfords own brand ready mixed stuff, which has a sort of scented fragrance about it. Diluted 5:1 in summer and neat in winter, often on a bogof. So stock up when ever it's on offer.

Just as a side to this discussion, I lost my pressure washer last winter to freezing up and it was suggested that I shouls have used some screen wash through the system to stop frezing up in future.

Not a good idea that Use a screen wash that protects to -15 degrees for example - may cost a few more pennies than water but I am sure you can afford it. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Last year I could not find any when I needed it. Of, I bought 30 kg of de-icing salt for my drive too!
