Seems you need a vehicle with say adjustable ride height (from air suspension maybe?) and built in front spats.

I wonder who has a car like that?

I'll take the air suspension, as long as I can leave the 22" wheels, body kit and bangin' sound system. Oh and the spats! Laughing

From a previous thread I think the spats are also designed to improve fuel consumption so perhaps Tigger should ferret them out from his garage and save £££ over the next 100,000 miles...... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

The fuel consumption on my FL2 was rubbish before I took them off and it's equally rubbish now! Laughing I'd have to use the saving of 0.001mpg that it would achieve to save up for the materials needed to repair the front bumper when I damage it grounding the bib on something! Wink Laughing

For info,
I’ve just been quoted the following revised part numbers from the web (Rimmers):
LR032270
LR029532
Ties in with the part number shown on the L/R label in the photo on the first post. Seems like these numbers have changed a few times.
If npinks is correct and they cut down on splashes, for the price I’m going to order a pair.
Looks good in the photos.

You're driving a Land Rover and you're concerned by water splashes?! Rolling Eyes

Not a big fan of OEM bolt on black plastic bibs! I wonder where they got the inspiration from? Rolling Eyes

not just splashes hit a big puddle and the water will engulf the windscreen and effectively blind you At work

The bib spoilers do not work, every puddle I have hit has caused a deluge on the screen, are there any videos anywhere or official data on what they are for?

Hasn't caused me any serious bother since I removed mine 16,000 miles ago (July)!

I have to say that during last winter we had a alot of side roads that were badly flooded and if they were driven through without the bibs the water at times did run up the bonnet and in worse case scenario up the screen as well (I know, too fast!!).
I fitted the bibs after comments on the forum and the problem of water up the bonnet etc. went away completely Ralph

From experience they do work. I fitted mine a while back and they cured the problem of water obliterating vision if hitting a puddle a bit quick.
Its a safety issue if nothing else. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

Okay, I'll concede this one; if you aren't planning on using the car off road and puddles are a serious problem, you might just as well fit them Wink
