My initial impression of the pre-production vehicles we saw at the London Motor Show in July was that the overall level of fit and finish was good - definitely on a par (if not better than) the D3.

Saw a couple more Fl2's in Bishops Itchington in Warwickshire (approx 7 miles from Gaydon) last week, both 'zebra' disguised, and a fully undisguised one on the M40.

Following this lunchtime's exploits I can confirm that the i6 Fl2 is much, much quicker and very surefooted on damp tarmac compared to a Td5 Defender  |
