What do you call it on for instance a porsche or a beetle with the engine in the back? Frontgate... ?

Do you mean folding the rear seats? That's what I do when I need more space. Tricky if you have valuables and have to leave the car, though.

I too was tempted by the 19's but conscious of the increased lack of off road ability the smaller the tyre wall.
Not sure that this is necessarily the case, though? |
