my replacement appears to be okay. i haven't been off road, but have done about 1000 miles and it stays put.
Update- Going down again! Working on a greenfield site has really sorted it! |

Been uo the Jebel Hafeet today. Sadly in an RRS Supercharged, unable to hire a LR2.
Great road. Drove from Dubai to the YAs Island, over to Al AIn, Jebel Hafeet then back to Dubai. 730km's.

Here now in Dubai. Seen a few nice SUV's and a smattering of Freely's. Have tried hiring one, but no luck so far  Busy working, and mad driving habits. Great place though. |

@ Chris B. You can still use sand for better acceleration in manual. Also makes the Freely feel tighter as it's putting more power to the rear.

i got some 18's from Duckworths as they were cheaper than 4 new tyres for the 17's. They feel better on road, but not sure about the grip during the recent snow and ice.

Just got a mail-shot from LR. If I book a test drive in a White, I can get a free LRE day.
Nice of them. As owner of a GS I've never been offered a free LRE day.
