The towbar should be a simple process of undoing nuts and bolts and no the bumper should not need to come off. Its the left reflector that may need to come out to reveal access to a nut.

I picked up a secondhand 13 pin electrics (inc. module) off the 'bay for £70 delivered -plugged it in, paid £50 for LR to program something and it all worked
