Here is a back of a fag packet calculation (and I don't smoke)
if you have a 60 w bulb and it's running off say 14.5 volts then it's taking 4.13 amps

let's drop the voltage that the bulb sees by 1 ...

Thanks for all the replies so far but most have missed my point. And that is that the FL2 is a lot worse than other similar cars.

Every car mentioned has a turbo.

Apart from the Landcruiser which was a 3.0, the others I don't know what size they were.
