The owner's manual specifically states 'Do not rotate tyres around the vehicle' and adds a hazard warning for good measure.

The brakes in general are far too small for a car of the weight and height of the FL2. The rears in particular with electronic handbrake are tiny,

I had an issue with swapping front to back when one front tyre was wedged, i.e. worn across the tyre width. On the back it caused a droning noise.

My friendly tyre fitter says that as they are predominately front wheel drive them new tyres to the front for grip and drive.

Just beware that swapping 'wedged' front tyres to the rear will cause droning due to the difference in diameters across the tyre width which is probably why LR don't recommend rotating tyres.

Don't forget that the Haldex is engaged when the car starts off and disengages to FWD at some speed, then re-engages when coming back to a stop on dry tarmac.
