| I seem to recall either on here or the D3 forum guys have fitted tablets and hard wired them to an ignition switched feed from the fuse box behind the glove box thus avoiding battery drain. |

I thought it was only HSE that had them, still not sure if mine is permantly live or if it goes off when the car goes to sleep.
If it stays live could be an option for battery charging. |

From what I understand talking to the salesman if you want a spare It is a factory order on the DS, obviously modifications to the rear floor.
Also if you opt for the spare you can't fit a towbar and ... |
