As per my original posting I use the even larger 265/70 X 17 Kumho KL71 tyres for off road events but they are a very tight fit when used with the standard FL2 struts.

I think the proven 245/70 X 1 ...

Agree - I would also see a 200+ mile round trip as too far to resolve what is their issue.

If they were really going to pay up without a fight then it would be easy enough for them to pay a fitter ...

Mmm - On thinking about this and if they are taking that long just to get a confirmation e-mail to you I would be very wary of flinging more money at this and rely on a refund from them any time soon ...

As regards not fitting rear spacers I suppose it depends on what sort of terrain you are off-roading on and how much ground clearance you are looking for......

Must admit I have never seen or heard of these but at around £500 for 2 sets delivered giving 24mm lift front and rear they are certainly not cheap for the equivalent of £125 per spacer / corner.

They have conned you so even if it is a pain I would make every effort to get your money back, get the actual tyre you are looking for locally and tell this crew they can organise a courier to uplift ...

I would not bother changing it till closer to it's recommended service interval - No point in filling oil recycle bins with perfectly good oil for no good reason Smile

No probs - I did a wad of research before doing these so I should remember really and good to share........

In the end I went for 20mm spacers on the front and 25mm on the rears.
