As far as I was aware, this is much better than just braking. HDC senses each wheel, so if one loses contact, it is the one that is braked, and not the others.

I have just heard of someone having trouble with a 6021 with another bluetooth kit. They advised doing a factory reset, and this cleared the fault, could be worth a try.
