My Daughter brought the LR2 home today and I took a look at the wiring.

Nothing worn as far as I can tell.

I explained it incorrectly……my bad

The 3.2 like all automatic transmissions will start in PARK and it will also start in NEUTRAL

Your wiring harness is in very bad shape.

If you wrap the conductors individually in electrical tape you should be fine short term.

- press the brake with my foot
- the key fob with my thumb
- the START/STOP with my index finger
all in less than 1 second and my LR2 will not start.

If I'm lucky and on a motorway I may just about reach 30 mpg cruising at 72 mph. Since the i6 is our daily driver, it is usually a lot less, though…… x

The hardest part is removing the battery clamp and removing the battery

The tray is held in place by 4 bolts and it has a couple of tabs
