Ok, it all works. I can confirm that the extra plug IS required and it was the switchpack wiring harness that was incorrect.

I am not sure what you mean? If you see the top post on this page you will see a pic of the back of my right switchpack and it has 2 sockets a large one and a small one both have plugs in them.

So what is wrong then? There is nothing to plug into that extra socket? I have checked everything.
Still no horn or heated wheel, though it is connected as it lights up green with the lights.

If you mean the clockspring then yes and the heated wheel is all connected in both the clockspring and the back of the switch.
