I would try and get someone local to plug in a diagnostic tester see if it throws up any fault codes, that may help find the cause of your issues. Then post the results on here

Yes agree sticking actuator arm, not stuck at present but pretty sure it will re-occur at some stage, hence the decision to go ahead with the repair
