I wonder if it is an indicator that the hard drive is receiving new data, most PC's have something similar.
I might add a CD track to the hard drive (my music) and see if it flickers! |

I too have installed the speed camera database file & icon via USB, but haven't found the way to "warn" of these or any POI. Suggestions welcome.  |

It would seem possible. I only used the touch screen.
Without ignition
Press Power Button to turn on system
Press and hold for around 5+ seconds the on screen power icon
